Stress urinary incontinence is the result of abnormal muscles of pelvic floor (Kegel muscles) responsible, among others, for maintaining urinary bladder. Unfortunately, over the years, their strength is weakening. Past pregnancies, infections, certain medications or micro injuries can weaken their strength which is manifested as an accidental loss of urine.

What is the procedure?

Treatment of Stress Urinary Incontinence is the restoration of tension and elasticity of the muscles of the pelvic floor and the upper wall of the vagina. For the procedure a laser isused  to cause strengthening of pelvic fascia inside, the walls of the vagina and the area of the urethral meatus. The laser light stimulates collagen fibers mucosa leading to their proliferation and amplification. This leads to shrinkage of the treated tissue, which then leads to a reduction in the angle of the urethra and restores its normal functionality.

It is the safest, least invasive and most accurate method of treatment of stress urinary incontinence in women. This method compared with other methods (such as stitching tapes and meshes posses) many advantages. But the most important thing is safety, comfort and no need for anesthesia, as the treatment is painless.
